    What is the e-Learning Studio?

    The e-Learning Studio is designed to help you develop professional, pre-recorded educational media content. The studio is available to all University staff and students to help in the creation of high quality pre-recorded media for teaching and learning, and as a digital media training space. The studio incorporates cutting edge presentational technologies, fully supported by instructional technologists who can work with you to develop engaging media solutions that will assist in the delivery of effective pre-recorded online, hybrid and in-person teaching that meets student needs. Our approaches and support are research-informed and pedagogically-focused, helping to ensure that you produce the most effective media for learning and teaching.

    What Support Is Offered?
    The first step in working with e-Learning on a project in the studio is to meet with e-Learning to discuss and assess your project and needs. From here we can determine how e-Learning can best assist you with your project. Please set up a consultation here. 

    You can schedule time to use the studio space but must complete a short studio introduction before using it on your own.

    What If I Need More Help?
    E-Learning offers assistance with course production services in the categories of  Canvas, animation, engagement in learning design, and video production for accepted projects. Please fill out a consultation request if you are interested in our full service production services.

     

    What About Video Recording?
    The e-Learning Studio has recording capabilities using a Sony A7iii mirrorless full frame camera that can record in 4K. The studio also contains a green-screen wall for filming videos and interviews that requires background visual effects, we also offer lighting equipment and support for on-camera video recording.
